About Me
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
When beginning counselling, I take time to contract with each client so that we are clear about what to expect from our work together. This includes agreeing on boundaries, confidentiality, and session structure—ensuring you feel safe and fully informed from the start.
I work in line with the BACP Ethical Framework, which means I place your wellbeing at the heart of the process, guided by integrity, respect, and a strong commitment to professional standards.

My First Session
I recommend that our first session lasts 90 minutes, with time for an initial assessment of your situation, needs, and goals. This is an opportunity to focus on you—your experiences, your hopes for counselling—at a pace that feels comfortable.
We will also discuss the counselling contract, including confidentiality, boundaries, and what you can expect from me. To start, I might ask:
“How would you like to begin today so that you feel most supported?”
By the end of the session, my aim is for you to feel understood, respected, and hopeful about the positive changes you can make. Together, we will create a strong foundation of trust and safety.
